Email us "Why you deserve our free ticket lovin" for the chance to WIN tickets to "JUKE JOINT" Adelaide's first ever Blues event
In an era of drive-thru dinners, on-line friendships and made-for-ringtone musical confectionary, it's time to pay homage to the twelve-bar salvation known as the Blues. For one night only, the Queens Theatre will be transformed into a makeshift bar styled as a 1930's Mississippi 'Juke Joint'. It's where weary workers let loose to the raw, grinding rhythms of travelling bluesmen and find release in the bottom of a bourbon.
A Stellar line-up showcasing Australia's finest blues talent including; Rob Eyers, harmonica player Chris Wilson, ARIA-winning trio Collard Greens and Gravy, MBAS Blues Music Award-winner Suzannah Espie, Sweet Baby James, and Cold Chisel's unofficial sixth man, Dave Blight. Also performing will be the winners of the Killing Floor Blues Challenge.
